Flavia Lupu is a visual artist. Lives and works in Bucharest. She has a master’s degree in Creative Strategies in Painting at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, and is currently a PhD candidate at the same university with the topic concerning the performing of the human body in urban areas seen through the relationship between image and politics. She took part in several group exhibitions that had focused on the human body and she developed some personal projects that had as starting point the socio-political and cultural premises that have left their mark on the public opinion and on the individuals state of mind in contemporary Romania.
